The DGEQ has some maps and a postal code lookup. It does not however have
the names of representatives for these ridings (
http://www.electionsquebec.qc.ca/en/find_electoral_division.asp?sect=no2).

The site includes the following data in an excell spreadsheet (
http://www.electionsquebec.qc.ca/en/module_recherche_cp.asp and associated
metadata are explained here -
http://www.electionsquebec.qc.ca/en/messages/desc_fichier.asp):

   - the postal code;
   - the electoral division (the code and name);
   - the municipality (the code, name and designation);
   - the RCM (the code and name);
   - the administrative region (the code and name).

There are also some socio demographic (
http://www.electionsquebec.qc.ca/en/statistical_data2.asp) data by electoral
riding, albeit in a PDF format, while there are data from 2001 and 2006
censuses in two seperate documents and it seems the complete serieds can be
downloaded. It would of couse be far more exciting if these were in maps
and interactive.

There is also an area for the electoral results for - hey - the last
elections in 2007 (http://www.electionsquebec.qc.ca/en/resultats_gen.asp).
These are not shared in a sexy easy to use and interactive internetly way
but are available nonetheless! Wow! You can also get a summary of election
results from 1867 onward (
http://www.electionsquebec.qc.ca/fr/pdf/Election_1867_2007_fr.pdf) cool!

While there is a ton of info, there are few maps and charts that help see
trends, changes and a picture what is and who is where of the Province.
Also, unfortunately there is little or no interactivity beyond the drop down
lookup tools and the find your riding map - click to zoom.

Since I am not a citizen of La belle province! I am not getting any
grassroots electoral stuff like votefortheenvironment in my inbox! Would
you fine folks living just across the river from me be so kind as to send me
any cool grass roots, logitiel libre or interesting videos or open
government type of things?

Cheers
t
