[CivicAccess-discuss] Canada's Next Great Prime Minister candidate argues for open data

I got an email yesterday from Gabriel Bran Lopez, who based part of his video platform for CBC's 'Canada's Next Great Prime Minister' on I Believe in Open.  You can watch it here:

At minute 4 of his pitch, he talks about a 'New Accessability' to government information, including free access to scientific and survey data.

It's great to see these ideas being re-mixed.  If you're so inspired, you can log in to CBC to comment and vote.    As I understand it, the top 4 (or 8?) rated videos get a more in-depth treatment on national television.
