[CivicAccess-discuss] How XML Threatens Big Data

I am not a programmer, however, the language of this post sounds rational.
I think my gut is reacting to what I often hear, "well just give us the
data, it is easy to get it out"!  Often I hear that from people who are not
working in institutions, or in institutions who are really dealing with big
data sets.  It is an unthoughtful response to all problems - lets just build
something new!

The blog post is short and refers to data.gov and genomics databanks.
