The Ottawa Police Service has long recognized the value of sharing
information on community safety and security. To further community awareness
and improve accessibility to calls-for-police-service occurring in the
community, the Ottawa Police Service has merged Geographic Information
Systems technology with police calls-for-service data for user-friendly
public consumption through the Ottawa Police Service internet website,
ottawapolice.ca
