[CivicAccess-discuss] Slightly off-topic: access to information difficulties

Hello,

If you are having - or know someone who has - difficulties with access to information requests, please get in touch with me. 

I am researching a mining company for a number of years now, and, since since Harper came to power the access to information has degraded dramatically. He has named a new Commissioner and I have  complaints sitting idle for almost two years now - it is so damn obvious they do not want to act on them.  

Not to speak about DFAIT which tries every excuse and trick in the hat to hide the documents and censor them to the bone.  And when I complain, the complaint is buried by the Commissioner. 

I find the situation is intolerable and looking to coordinate with persons facing the same issues.
