New York City also moving towards Open Data! and believe it or not, the
City of Vancouver via its open data policies makes its way into an article
about New York! Youzee! What other Canadian cities are going to make such
headlines.
*Article in New York Future Initiative (NYFI):*

*
Here is a link to the bill:*

There is also an open NY Senate site: http://open.nysenate.gov/ that
includes services and data.
The legistlation is being discussed by a group of Open NY City advocates at
a Participation Camp - http://mudball.net/pcamp09/
The NYFI Article is worth the read and provides a kind of how to.
