[CivicAccess-discuss] Playing with Data - UK Guardian Data + ManyEyes = telling a story

I really enjoyed my one hour of playing with the free and open UK Guardian
Data and the free Many Eyes visualization tools this morning while hanging
out with my two rascals.  It sparked a good conversation amongst us as we
were eating breakfast and trying out my sons new gaming computer he is
sending off to his new base in Ontario.  I just hope he keeps reading books!

It is precisely this kind of openness that I would love our Canadian
Government to move towards.  This way there is education, a conversation,
and increased story telling each and personalization.  This is the
democratization of data and the possibilities it presents.
