This is really great! UK Free the Data Blog by the UK Guardian was
instrumental in keeping up the pressure. Ordinance Survey was the most
restrictive cost recovery shop in the world. Canada once thought it was
between the US and UK model! This is great news and demonstrates the power
of good investigative journalism. Maybe one day in Canada they will give
away our census data!
