[CivicAccess-discuss] Jobs, abolition of cost recovery and open data

As big institutions go from the most regressive cost recovery policies to
open data means big changes within.  Fear of job losses and reshuffling are
push backs within institutions and unions.  It will also be interesting to
know which jobs a which levels are at risk?  The entire client services
section?  Survey engineers? The marketing section? Reduced accounting
section? Royalty managers? Data licensing police?  etc.

Let hope the data get used and generate income & innovation as hoped.
